Has anyone tried the Sigma ring flash?

Looks similar to the MT 14EX. Was wondering if I should go with one of these two, or hold off for the 24ex

If you like the "ring" catchlight in spider's eyes, then go for it. I personally find ring catch light really weird :D....also very difficult to diffuse ring flash properly.

Thanks for the reply! I think I'm just going to hold out for the 24ex :)

I think the twin flash is a better option because of the ring effect. Probably have slightly less clearance issues with a ring though (the Canon ring has to independent halves I think.)

Toby (racketman) I think uses bot the ring and the twin flash so you could PM him for advice.
