I use wordpress and I have bought 2 different galleries. Like both. Use them on different sites.
Is there a plugin or anything you can buy to right click protect images? I see some photographers sites are right click protected but unsure if it's part of the template or something else in the code.

thanks in advance.

There are lots of WP plugin to prevent right clicking. Do a search in WP.

It is a simple JavaScript code and also there are plugins for WP.
But this protect your images only from those who are very bad with computers.

If Noitca meant that It can protect you from Google, then no, it can not. People still will be able to go directly to the image from Google image search and copy it.

Ok yes i figured that. Does google image display the full size image or just a smaller one? I think it's smaller but maybe I'm wrong.

Whichever you display on your page. Full size of what is in the code of a page, not the full size of what you've uploaded (unless you have a weird theme that displays originals). Easy to check - Right click > Open image in new tab.

Additionally, even if you choose to right-click protect, it doesn't stop anyone from stealing the image(s)... it's still possible to do a screen capture.

Thanks Dmitriy, and yes I know that. Nothing is 100% but I figure it'll at least be an extra step. I dont think we can do anything about the few that are 100% dead set on stealing.

Do be aware that anti-right click codes can have a bad habit of breaking things, aren't actually effective, and will prevent people from bookmarking your page easily in some browsers.

Far better to just ensure you are uploading images that are a suitable resolution for the task at hand, and nothing better than that.

The only way to completely protect an image is to never put it online. Even disabling right-click does not stop other methods of copying. There's a trick of covering an image with a transparent GIF, but that only stops the unaware.

It's not an extra step. It's annoying and has no practical value where image protection is concerned.
