im purchasing a 7d next week and i will mainly be using it for downhill mountain biking photography and videography, im getting the 70-200 f4 IS and the 24-105 IS both USM ill also be buying a flycam nano and a rhino slider carbon (they're amazing) oh and a tripod of course...does anyone have any experience shooting any type of mountain bike or fast paced action with this body and lens set up?

Maintaining focus is going to be your biggest problem, trying to follow focus on a mountain bike is going to be hard. So I'd aim for maximum DOF by stopping down, shooting at 24fps you would use a 1/50 shutter speed, so f16 should be achievable in good light. Adjust ISO if required, don't use to long a focal length as that will restrict the DOF, aim for something like 24mm, this should give you enough focus latitude to cover things.

should be shooting at northstar bikepark alot, if you dont know what its like theres no clouds and its extremely bright haha
