I seem to personally like this picture a lot.

However does it do anything for anybody else is the question?

Yes, I like it also. I would, however, remove the two anomolies in the picture. One is upper left and the other upper right. Looks like they may have been water or dust spots on the lens. Your picture editing package should allow you to clone them out.

Nice shot. IMO I would also saturate it a bit to make the colors pop more. Yo have a good spectrum of golds and yellows.

I agree with Kev , also the use of a ND grad filter would had allowed for a touch more detail in the fg , not alot , just 1 stop of light.
