In a pinch you could use that "14-24mm" lens as a flotation device at the pool.

That should sell well to all those here complaining how big their hands are. :)

Going to need to hit the gym for some serious workout before my neck can support that camera. Or better yet, instead of a neck strap, it should come with a 5-point harness.

Guys relax! I have looked very close on the photos and I don't think this is a real camera. It looks very fake.

At that size, does it come with an 8x10 sensor?

THATS IT!!! Canon has found someone to build a camera for their new sensor.

For any sensor that large, you'd want movements, though, otherwise the huge f/stops needed to get any useful depth of field would mean that diffraction would render most of the pixels useless...

No. I cannot relax. I refuse to believe this comically over-sized inflatable camera is not a totally real Nikon camera. Just look at the girl in the photo: do you think she'd be smiling if she were holding up a fake camera? Of course not! I'm going out of my mind with desperation trying to find where I can preorder this thing.

How much do you think it will cost? Under $100K? And what do you think the specs are for it: Resolution, dynamic range, high-ISO performance, etc. Will it have an extra quiet shutter sound so I can take pictures incognito without drawing any attention to myself? Will Gigapan make an Epic Pro + for "plus-sized" cameras? When will RRS have an L-bracket available? Will the enormous size of the sensor help me compensate for other, um, "shortcomings"?

Will it make me a better photographer? Ha, ha, just kidding about that last one: of course it will make me a better photographer! Laugh it up all you like, you skeptics and unbelievers with your old puny pathetic little "full-frame" DLSRs, you will be left in my dust when I start shooting award-winning images with my new D800X. Then who will be laughing? Me, that's who.
