C&C More u-11 Soccer

Some more soccer from a tournament a few weeks ago.

All shot with a 1d classic and a Sigma 100-300mm f4. ISO was at 400.

I like #s 3 to 6 a lot, good job

Great set, pity about the backgrounds in #1 and #2.

Backgrounds are tough at some of the tournaments. Field after field and people all over the place makes for some tough backgrounds. I try not to shoot the sidelines when I am sitting on the end line. But sometimes it works.

I don't know what is happening with the 4th photo. I'll play with after lunch.

Having shot soccer for years, it's amazing how many shots of tongue you get.

Good looking shots. My only thought when I looked at these was there is nothing indicative that it's a game on a real pitch. No goal, no lines, no ref. Without some of those elements, it could just be some kids playing in a park. The added elements give the competitive environment and add to the dimension of a shot. Just my opinion, FWIW.

These look a tad bit oversharpened but nice otherwise
