Hi there,
I'm wondering what everyone does when converting to sepia tones. I usually go into the adjust hue and saturation, choose colorize and then adjust the hue and saturation until it looks right. Is there a better way to do sepia? I have PS 7. Thanks

ZoomBrowserEx had a checkmark for B/W images followed by 4 tones effects when you process raw images. Sepia is one of them.

Hi Kristy,

I like to use the Duotone feature in Photoshop:

Image/Mode: Grayscale
Image/Mode: Duotone (tritone, see attachment)
Image/Mode: RGB

Seems to give a nice, rich sepia . . . plus I like the fact that I can edit the tritone curves to get the look I want.

I like the Thomas Niemann's Tones action. It can be found at http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm (external link). It is free and very handy give it a try. It will create several versions from the same image. Once you select a version you like the most you can tweek that image even more.

Here is a sample.
