Looking for a Pelican case for transporting my Einsteins (4) with associated accessories (cords, MVL, etc.).

But the thing I am having trouble with is my reflectors. I would like the case to fit the PCB 11" Long throw reflectors.

I think this rules out the 1650 series. But what about the 1640? Anybody have one of these and care to comment?

Check out post #484 in this thread https://photography-on-the.net …read.php?t=460668&page=33

It has 4 einsteins and other accessories, but it doesn't have the 11" long throw reflector. Its a 1654

Thanks. I have no doubts that the 1650 will hold the strobes and everything else. But I just don't think it is deep enough for the LTR's.

The 1620 and 1630 also have a greater height than the 1650. I have the 1610 which has the same height as the 1650. It can fit 4 Einsteins and room for more. I don't know about the 11" reflectors. I've only got the 8.5" ones and they fit fine.

I carry my 4 PCB strobes and accessories in a 1730. Even the big umbrella tucks inside! It's a beast but everything has a place and is well protected. I have a 1650 that carries my lenses, bodies and everything else I need for shoots.

After some more research and measuring, I think a 1634 would be about right. Anybody have one of these?

It looks like the tray takes up half the height (from B&H's site):
