We've watched 6 Black Swallowtails emerge from their cocoons the past two days. We brought the caterpillars in after they ate all of the dill where they hatched from their eggs. We fed them curly parsley until they pupated. Our first one emerged yesterday morning and then two more. We had three more this morning. God is amazing!

We found butterfly eggs on our dill plants July 18

Absolutely brilliant.

Gorgeous images and an excellent story and I must show my 5 year old son whom has recently learned the life cycle of a butterfly.
