How Do You Get Downloaded Videos on iPad?

So I purchased the Guide to LR5 on Luminous Landscape. It is a series of videos that are now on my iMac desktop. How the heck do I get them on my iPad?

Easiest thing to do is to download the freeware Handbrake and use its iPad export preset. Then, just drop the video into iTunes and sync it to your iPad.

Edit: What is the current format of the video? If it's already iPad-compliant, then you can just drop it into iTunes and sync to your iPad. I'd try that first.

They were mov format. My son put them on my iPad. Don't know what he did though. But thank you both for your help. I do appreciated it.

Or you can stream using Plex. It's free for the PC, Mac or Linux and $4.99 for iOS or Android devices. No need to re-encode anything and it works over the Internet or via WiFi. It's about as simple as can be, but if you aren't afraid of doing a little more work theres XMBC.

Another option is Dropbox.

With any iDevice, you need to use iTunes to copy music and videos onto it.

You can also use Air Play to transcode and stream most video formats from your Mac to your ipad.

Just download the VLC app, connect your ipad to itunes, and drag & drop whatever files into VLC. It plays all formats, so needs to re-format etc.

Couldn't be easier.

I used to use Itools, a free download that when connected to the iPad or iPhone would make everything a simple drag and drop.

And so went on vacation few weeks back. Downloaded IronMan 3 on my computer. Hooked up my ipad and it began syncing. It took a real long time. I figure, it's gotta be downloading the movie so I can watch it on the plane.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! It was on some friggin cloud and never made it to my iPad. Now that sucks.
