Digital photos that processed in the trendy vintage/film style (VSCO and the like), how to they look printed? While I enjoy that look on my computer screen, does the effect and feel translate into prints?

I have not seen it. Others who have, can only describe it the best they can. What I recommend doing is just doing it to one of your photos and getting it printed at a local lab to see for yourself. Just get a 4x6 for 13 cents or a 8 x 10 for like $1.50. :)
