I couldn't resist jumping out of my car on the side of the highway earlier this year to snap this early moon rising against the sun setting. Hope you like it!

Hey thanks Desumi!

Well it wasnt anywhere near Byron..god thats a good place to be. I Lived in Brissie before moving to Canada and all I have to say is dont take your beaches for granted man! ;)

It was taken on the way to the Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming. I'm not exactly sure where..it was just a spur of the moment shot that I couldn't miss!

No problem man
i actually just started laughing when you said about the beaches, dont worry i use them almost every day.

Are you staying in the national park to take more pictures, if so are they going to be night shots or landscape. Would love to see them.
And again great shot !!

Glad to hear they don't go to waste.

I'm already back from our trip, we stayed for about a week total in Tetons and Yellowstone. For our honeymoon my wife and I camped across Canada and America for 2 months living in a tent and out of our Ford escort wagon..not what most would call Honey mooning but we loved every second of it.

Unfortunately I wasn't concentrating on Astro stuff during this trip..which I regret, so most are landscapes.

I started this thread https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=16203506#post16203506 that has a few pictures from our journey in the Tetons
