Warning- Insect Carnage-

Ive seen plenty of chipmunks, but I don't think I've ever seen one devour a bug before. I'm sure it must happen all the time...Chock full o' vitamins!

Your photos almost make the grasshopper look like good eating.

It probably happens often, though rarely photographed. I've seen fox squirrels eat big beetles.

great photos.

I used to 'study' chipmunks when I was young, they LOVE grasshoppers!

they can 'trim' and gobble down the bodies in no time.
