Are there any good location scouting resources for photography? I've used Google to find a few but I'm looking for some recommendations. Just looking for some new places to shoot, my interests and location are in my sig and profile.

Any online resources you have for this sort of thing would be greatly appreciated!

I like to use Google earth as you get a really good sense of the location and possible places to shoot from.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

There's also the photographer's ephemeris program that helps you get things all lined up like with the sun and moon and such.

I have found the best online resource of all to be Flickr. There are so many millions of images on flickr, and they are all keyword searchable. There are also "groups" on Flickr, many of which are genre-specific and location-specific. So, there is actually a chance that you could find a "Bucks County, PA Wildlife" group on Flickr. Then you could contact the members of the group and ask them about good local hotspots for shooting wildlife.

There are countless other ways to use Flickr to find good locations for whatever you want to shoot - groups are just one of them.

By the way, Mike, I lived in Bucks County for decades. And I shoot wildlife. If you send me an email (please no PMs), I would be glad to tell you about some excellent locations in your area for wildlife, environmental portraits, travel/adventure, etc. I look forward to hearing from you!

EDIT:
Here's a page that may lead you to some good locations:

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
