Honest Opinions Wanted - Weekend Away Photos

Went to Sequoia National Park this weekend and thought I'd share some photos. Would love your honest thoughts. First attempt at photographing stars like this.

The sky images I would print, were it not for the included foreground. The sunset image suffers from lens flare and streaks in the water and should be fixed.

#1 and #3 are great sky shots for me. I like the silhouette -- not the lit foreground as seen in #2 and #4 -- because it is subdued and it helps with scale.

I also like #5, and I'll agree with Chauncy about needing to remove the flare. [I'd clone out the boat and the black dot in the water, too.]

Thank you for posting these. You've given me some ideas...but, I'm stuck in Ohio where I won't get your clear skies or quality landscapes to work with.
