Some of you will know that i'm working on a Project of my hometown, which last year was voted 'Ugliest Town in the UK'. This morning I got a letter through the door from my MP thanking me for 'doing something positive for the town', and inviting me on a tour around the Houses of Parliament. Chuffed with that! :)

wow that's great Mark, very well done. Are you allowed to photograph in the Houses of Parliament?

All voted Penel :)

Nice shots of the new additions Lee.

I think ive just done the most nerve racking job ever.

As some may know, the 5D mkii BG-E6 grip is renowned for shredding the teeth of the gear for tightening it to the body. I managed to get the new part from Colchester Cameras for £30, So saved myself the £125+VAT fitting charge.

Hi Dom

Nice overall tonality with the sunset sky and holding the details in the foreground :D ...............but if it was my image I would clone over the red 'paint' mark on the tower as red is a colour that draws the eye and IMO it detracts here because the eye goes to that rather than the sunset.

Thanks Laurence, I know what you mean about the graffiti though if I try to remove it it doesn't look right as the paint has faded to to many different shades.
Well done on the sales by the way.

I really like these shots, and it's always fun to see the ISS wizzing past (I've seen it twice, but only because of the email notices which I don't seem to have gotten for a while now). I think Ian has a shot where you can actually make out the shape of the station??

I have an app that has an add-on which you can download to track the ISS with dates and times. The main app is Sky Guide - its not free but its extremely good - and you can see other satellites that are around but there is the extra download (this is not free either) that gives all the info you might want for the ISS.

Thanks Penel & BB. I certainly hope I can shoot in the Houses of Parliament, there isn't anything on there website saying Cameras aren't allowed.

Here's one I managed to get in London the other day when I went down for Physio.

I like that Mark works well in mono.

Has anyone else got their pin hole camera ready for World Pin Hole Day tomorrow?
