it's fab Dom - really mystical.

Love the Kite shots Richard.

Good luck with the air shows Radders. Love that rainbow through the 'smoke' - I'm sure it's not called that...

Wayne - looks like the football match went well! - great shots.

I've been doing more dog shots... sorry if it's boring - these are all rescues and really lovely dogs.

This is Missy she's an American bulldog

That last shot is something else Penel, looks like a hard little ba*tard! It's a contrail/vapour trail too :)

I've been mostly playing with this today, It's the new Mk2 version with super dooper camera underneath it.. retails around £1000... it's my neighbours at work. Needless to say, I WANT!

All shot with the 1D + Bigma.

Radders, that's the one that a guy was using at the drifting at the weekend. Very nice.

Thanks Penel I've not seen it happen yet this year but I always find it special when it does. That last one reminds me of Romie my dog so much she growls at you when she's happy and is all teeth and barks when she plays it really puts other dog owners off what with staffies reputation.

That's look like a neat piece of kit there Radders looks like it'll be fun to use.

I'll see if I can get some photos/footage off the guy... he's bought it to do music video shoots. But I'm going to ask for a favour also, for my work/Facebook page. :)

@ Radders ~ you are getting lots of practice with that Bigma and as for that friends Quadcopter, cool toy :)

@ Wayne ~ great footie captures and hopefully the team are pleased with them :) Also good set of the drifting.

@ Dom ~ love that mist falling over the cliff :D

@ Penel ~ as usual superb dog imagery & captures :D

@ Neal ~ very nice 'take' of the sculpture & TB

Personal update
Not sure whether I gave a SE PoTN update on the exhibition...............as mentioned before I hung 29 framed prints and sold a total of 19 prints but not all 'off the wall' as I had various reprints (including 3 off the Red Squirrel and 3 off the Spitfire Flypast) sales wise a few bought more than one print but one buyer took 4 framed prints! And two sold to an Aussie who had to return home early to I posted those to her and they are according to the tracking almost there. Just thinking about my prints being in someone's home on the other side of the world is quite something to realise  NB link to the displayed images http://www.engramphotography.com/gallery-images (external link)

So following from this success as I say in the amended sig "now the hard work begins" to make something of what I hope will grow by way of print sales ~ lots to plan and act on over the coming months to increase the exposure and places to sell apart from online offerings :D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

@ Richard ~ ref the Red Kite, great garden visitor. I frequently see them when seeing customers in Maidenhead & Wooburn Green. Sadly never an opportunity for me :(

hi all, well what a odd year im having, Harry my second was born on the 19th Jan and by heck this one likes to eat! my dad suddenly died about 5 weeks ago which was not so nice and has left a right old mess in Spain where he lived which im trying to sort out. We are in the middle of moving home to a small village up the road to a house built in 1512 which needs work done to it but has a fantastic large garden where I can set up a hide and hopefully get some little birds to pose for me..
Photowise ive been signed up to two new companies that are selling my photos on various objects (a bit tacky but heyho!) like laptrays, trinket trays, place-mats, mugs etc which are selling like hot cakes and im getting a nice steady monthly return on them, the other is a US company that sells art to Hotel chains/stores etc and so far im again making a nice steady income from them as well.
Wedding season is now in full swing which I sort of like I think? money is nice but I would rather be out taking animal pics. At Elmley Marshes Reserve I have been talking to the owner about setting up photo workshops, they have just such an array of fantastic birds and mammals there which would be great to photograph once the hides are set up.
I went to the BWC the other day to take some stock photography pics of animals with David Lloyd, I had a great day and it was nice to go and just take pics of subjects I enjoy to shoot, I havent sat down really and gone through them all yet but as I havent posted for it seems like ages here are a couple..

Wow Mark, it sounds like youve been throught it. Sorry to hear about your Father.

The news on the sales front sounds good, and with the purchase of the house too it sounds like your going to be one busy chap.

Any pics of the house? it sounds like it must be mud and straw at that age.

Love the flying Otter. :)

ATB Wayne.

Hi Mark

Crumbs, sounds like a real mixture of tragedy and triumph. Sorry to hear the news about your dad :( but hopefully with Harry thriving and the photographic triumphs you are seeing the better side of life as well :)

The possible developments at Elmley Marshes sounds very interesting and appealing (the animals & birds predominated for prints sold in the exhibition ~ must add to and increase the portfolio of those sort of subjects :) )...............and as for the house move with a good old garden, you lucky fellow :D

And as for the leaping Otter and scowling Wild Cat ~ superb standard as always :) bw! both of them.

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p
