Found out a while back that one of my shots will be featured in a book! The cancer charity Maggies has put together an Architecture book called 'The Architecture of Hope (external link)'. Pretty happy with that, i've been in a couple of mags before but never a book! Received a copy of it Yesterday & it looks good!

Well done Mark it's always good to see you work in print, it's how it's supposed to be seen not in a monitor.

Nice, but would be worth leveling the horizon to stop all the sea spilling out :)

Hi All

It's been a bit quiet on here lately, I expect we are awaiting for spring to arrive so we can all get out to grab a few fresh pics.

I am thinking of selling my 100-400L IS Mk1 if anyone can give me in idea of its value? It has had very little use since I bought it new.

Ray it's just very quite on here full stop the old faces don't seem to post much now weather that is due to work/family/other commitments or just a lack of photographic interest at present I don't know.

For 'corperatemas' my wife got me a driving experience with the Classic American Muscle (external link) guys, how can I put this?

AWESOME!!!!!

Cory managed to get a deal for the two car experience but once in the car I opted to do twice the laps in the same one - a 1965 Mustang Coupe called 'Tonto' - the track was damp and slippery but I genuinely had the best day. Only spoiler was the 'official' photographs (Cory got a disc of me on track as an extra surprise) we looked at them when we got home and to be honest - it will be going in the bin, not one photo is in focus and they are all over exposed and noisy as hell. LUCKILY Cory took her camera so I got a few to remember the day:

ME:

Do I look chuffed or what - still got the same grin now (at least the shaking has stopped)

Had one red flag lap because someone else had decided to kill a Mustang at Graham Hill bend - nearly cried as we drove past it.

If it is something you have thought about then I would highly recommend these guys, no it's not 'cheap' but be honest - your not going to do it every week.

Yep - terrific day and no the damage was someone else, slowed when we saw the red flag and then came around the corner to see the car in the barrier - honestly I could have wept, it's something no grown man should ever see!
