Feeling a bit out of sorts photography wise at the moment, started a new job in January and have not been having a good time of it, BUT things are improving so hopefully with my racing season fast approaching the 'spark' will return.

Went to the Photography Show in the NEC today, boy was it busy. Managed to get away without spending too much, spare battery for the 6D and a 77mm polarising filter; was sorely tempted with a carbon fibre tripod and a wide angle lens but decided to manage with what I currently have :lol:

Sat in the Scott Kelby presentation which was interesting.

Not many photos taken this year, there just did not seem to be the setups this year, but a lot more stalls though.

First proper picture with the new Sigma 50 f1.4. Focus point was Molly's left eye. Taken from about half a meter at f2, 1/50 sec so a really shallow DOF.

Think I'm going to like this lens :-)
