Their bad form is sadly more about IMO modern society...............also evidenced by the "your camera takes great pics...." being said to Lee. Lee, maybe next time at the same type of meeting stick it on a tripod and sit down next to it...............if asked why no picture taking tell them ever so politely with humour before you dismount it and start the session that you were told the camera takes great pictures so you though you had best let it carry on No, I am not being totally serious but it is the same being said to me over the years gets my goat..............see my sig ![]() I take it all with a pinch of salt L, as I said its just a mixed up compliment & the sentiment is there... That said its never fun to be mucked about especially when it's to do with something you have such passion for 500px

I have heard of the Bruntingthorpe 'taxi' days. Great set but these 2 are my faves. I do so wish we had a Victor & an EE Lightning still in the skies.....iconic aircraft from my childhood days ~ one of my favourite Airfix models was the Lightning. I think I read somewhere that the last 2 flying anywhere were in South Africa and privately owned for pleasure flights but one crashed with fatalities so the other was grounded, a sad end to one of the best of the British designed fast jets. That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans
