Wow some great photos in the comp already. Kev - is that your wife in the pic - I didn't realise she was a dancer - amazing shot I love it. Reminds me of one I saw years ago - and snow was also involved? Fuzz - your Florence shot is also a favourite. I cannot decide what to enter at all

If some of you were umming and erring on whether or not to enter the SOTY 2013 then Kevin (souporman) has just tipped you over the edge with a promise of a Canon Lens Mug to the winner as an additional prize! Nice one Kevin! :)

It's the last one too, so choose your entries wisely!

Thanks! Yea, that's the missus. She doesn't dance anymore, but still harbors romantic notions of herself as a ballerina :D Not sure about the snow photo, doesn't sound like one of mine at any rate :)

Maybe just for Geeks but have a gander at Big Dog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1czBcnX1Ww (external link) looks like a future avenue for robotics. The balance and control they have created is IMO quite something ~ enjoy ??? ;)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Hi all, not posted on here for ages due to being mega busy at work and looks like it will continue into next year.

Had a quick flick through the last few pages and am very jealous of you all producing some amazing images, think I will have forgotten how to use my camera by the time I get to use it hopefully over the Christmas break!!.

Will have to dig through my photos from this year for the comp but have only used my camera at the bird of prey centre and one airshow this year. Hopefully will be able to find something worthy of an entry.

Anyway if I don't get on here in the next week I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.

*waves to Steve*

I went to the Natural History Museum today - primarily to see the WPOTY exhibition - some beautiful shots there, although I have to say I find it hard to believe the under 10s can carry a DSLR and a 300m 2.8 and a tripod through a bog LOL! ho hum…

Here's some of my museum shots:

Great set there Penel I really like the way you've juxtaposed everything.

Mark I'm not sure about the 500px change part of me says I like it but another part thinks I am on Flickr.
