Hey guys, I have LOVE the posts here!! All are amazing!!

I just have a few silly questions. For this type of shot do you just take tons of photos and stack them or adjust the shutter speed?

And are there any good guides that I should read?

Thanks a ton

Well. there are tons of pictures so answer for your question will differ.
for those milky way landscape pictures, mostly you can think it as a single shot (some people may try to stack them occasionally)
for star trail : mostly it's stacked images, (film camera will do with single exposure and you can do the same way in digital camera but it will introduce a lot of noise and can potentially damage your camera sensor. So it's many exposures stacked into one image)
for deep sky photography ( since I saw one or two..there), images are stacked. They take many exposures and stack them so they can improve the quality.
