Had a go at shooting the Perseids, saw a couple of meteors but not on camera, these are my first efforts on here.

You got a little bit of the Milky Way in the first pic.. Did you try any longer than 30 sec at 17mm, and also at f/3.5 to attempt to capture more detail in the MW?

Used a Canon 15-85 at 15mm 25 sec at f4 ISO3200, a lot of tweaking in DPP including white balance to reduce the orange light pollution.
