My Sigma 35mm Art has been ordered.

Can't wait! It's the first step towards revamping my lens lineup.

nice!! grats!! hope it does well for you :)

Are you gonna get rid of the 28 and 40 then?

id rid the 28, but the 40 is special...

even for me i would like a nice 50mm 1.4 for my d800 but the 50 1.8 is very light and somewhat small that I would like to use and walk around with.

28 yes, 40 no. The 40 is a nice compact alternative to the 35 art when I want something small. The 28 will just be pretty redundant. The 28 will be the first to go followed by the 11-16 being replaced with, well, I don't know yet.

I do like the 28mm on crop for walkaround. 50mm seems "tight" for me. Something in the 24-70mm range might work (for me). ;)

Yeah, I guess the the 28mm is the weakest link since the 35mm can be the low light prime replacement.

The 40mm is good when you don't want to "lug" the 35mm around. ;)

yes, on crop is good :D

to me and what I had available, the 17-40 was good to have on as main. the 16-35 would have been better but id have to sell your limbs :P

the 50 was also nice to have in the bag for shallow and bokeh shots.

even on ff, the 50 was a bit tight. I keep telling myself.. 'gotta get the sig 35' and when I got a hold of one, of course my disney pass expired lol well its because I didn't renew the pass that I was able to afford the lens I guess...

Too late! Limbs are all sold off. :(

Gotta grow new ones. :p

Ah, well... when it comes to gear, it's all about trade-offs (or buying and selling and buying again) for some of us.
