Good morning all! We finally had some decent weather this weekend. Mayra was able to ride her new road bike for the first time!

That's pretty cool. Kinda like the Iron Man armor in a suitcase.

I just wish it could build itself on voice command

Like the pp on these Omar.

The backside shot is for Baan or Chet?

Thanks!

May the best man win?

I didn't know you can ask to see TSA inspect luggage before being checked in. Was this a special situation that you were allowed to do so? Or did you hand carry the bike-in-a-suitcase?

You need to get to the airport early then you can ask to be present when TSA reviews it. Depending on the airport you stand near them or behind glass. You have a right to this request. So what i do is make sure they close it correctly. That is how damage occurs they might move stuff around and then slam it shut. So i can guide them in the process. I also place a nice big note stating the value of the bike in bold lettering. That slows them down in tossing stuff around and they are more careful since you have made them aware of the value and are watching them.

I didn't realize you could make that request. Good to know... not that I'd have anything near that pricey or complicated to check in . I like the idea of putting a big bold price tag to their face. Gives them pause at the gear they're looking at. Heh.

More like swipe the card for already built bike

Yeah you cant touch anything only they can but you can direct them to ensure everything is packed up as it should be. I just make sure to keep everything as clean as possible so it makes it easy for them to look at everything thus having no real need to take stuff apart.
