Sigma going to release a new line of big primes at a lower price than first party lenses? Let the revolution continue

Super Telephoto ART Calibre Lenses
We’re told Sigma is working on new 300 & 400 f/2.8 OS lenses as well as new 500 & 600 f/4 OS lenses.

I could go for the 400. Wonder what the price will be compared to an EF 100-400. That was the next lens on my wish-list.

Seems like the 100-400 will be replaced within the next year. That is a fantastic lens. For me the best travel lens for wildlife shooting.

I've been thinking a lot of the pictures I've been seeing today are processed a little dark.

Just noticed that whoever worked my post yesterday (or lastnight), screwed with the settings on my monitor. Brightness was set at "0".

Time to maim someone.

Never kill, just maim. That way they remember every time they look in a mirror.

Serious maiming would be my choice of punishment in most cases, like for a heinous physical crime against a loved one. Much better than putting the bastards out of their misery. Sometimes I daydream about how I'd do it.

But I'm kinda twisted like that.

The 400 f/2.8 will be more expensive guaranteed..

The problem with the 100-400 replacement is that i guarantee it will be $3000

I only wish I could afford that. Well, I could if I wanted to be single.

I'm gettin' a chubby just thinking about it (the lens, not being single).
