Look at how he did it, I don't think he really did very complicated PP stuff on those. I am not sure as I am bad at it as well.

I don't see him anymore.. I wonder where is now hehe.

I know he's shooting with 2 D700's has the older Sigma 120-300 for sale and recently rented a 200/2 VRII.....all gathered from Flickr. :)

Never been to NY let alone B&H. I think the biggest camera store around it Calumet and I've never been there. I've only been to the mom and pop shops.

It's so nice to be able to hold everything and shoot, tinker etc etc. I just go there to waste time sometimes

There's a lot of them here too. :D

Haha you're missing a lot  Specially if you step into a Japanese store. Wayyyyy better customer service than anywhere in the world

I dunno how extensive is B&H's display but I am assuming the displays on these japanese electronic stores should be on par.

Equivalent?

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …8_M_ZUIKO_Wide_Angle.html (external link)

There are also some Sigma "Art" lenses to consider.

Thanks Dan. Are the Art lenses any good?

monk3y wrote in post #16213084 (external link)
It's about to be replaced by Olympus. Check out the new GX7

35mm FF equivalent? There's the 17mm f/1.8 ( I like it)... Then there's the Pancake Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 II... which equates to 40mm on FF.

Convention? No! I can get those at any stores here. I actually went to one earlier and caress some fine cameras.

Sony RX1R, Sony RX1, Fuji X100s, Pentax 645, Nikon 1 V2, Sigma DP Merrill and another Sigma SLR... hehe I could've stayed there a few hours and try all the DSLR etc etc...

Thanks Steven. Any rumors on the replacement?

Yes, the high ISO performance is far from fullframe, I think if you check DxO mark it shows it's on par with the D90 or something.

DR wise it's very good though... but the results are still not as refined as your usual FF dslr photo. As long as you don't expect it to perform magic it will be pretty nice.

I think Julian needs the Sigma DP Merrill's... he's a pixel whore after all ;) Landscape cameras that fits in your pocket. Read up on it Julian. :D

Here's a castle shot for you Baan... too bad somebody is standing in front of it:p:lol:

IMAGE: http://monk3y.zenfolio.com/img/s10/v108/p1854795482-6.jpg

You guys better explain to me how this happened, all the shots were taken with the Fuji 55-200mm... but I can't explain it, I did not even got these kind of look before using the 70-200mm VRII.

It looks like famous has been photo-shopped and pasted in the middle of Tokyo station  Almost no PP on this photo

This was at 78mm f/3.8 on an APSC X-trans sensor
