I can't seem to make the MQ work. -?

I'm LOVING the new software. It's definitely an adjustment, but it's a refreshing change.

Harm, the "old crew" that I'm still in contact with are all good. :-D

It took me awhile to. i figured it out on accident

after you are done clicking the mq button on what ever selected post you then hit the quote button on the final post you want to quote.
then you click quote in the viewer.
then click "insert all" or you can click on the persons name to insert there quote only.

You click MQ on each post you want to quote then on the editor you have to click the "Quote" on the left next to the palette icon to show your quoting options.

I stumbled on this too.

Here's Pekka's post on the editor:

One thing I don't like with the "insert all" option is that it places the quotes in reverse order. Meaning if post 1 is Jake and post 2 is Harm, the multiquote after clicking insert all puts Harm's quote first and then Jake's quote next.

I usually just click the individual post to show it in the order originally posted. Unless there's another work around I'm missing. -?

Oh okay, it must've been the order of my clicking. Whichever post you click and then next dictates the order. Nevermind.

Thanks for the heads up on the MQ I was trying to figure that out yesterday and never did get it right. Overall I think its a pretty huge improvement in functionality over the old site although the aesthetics did take some getting used to. I love being able to change the size of the margins without zooming via the browser, although I have to change between narrower 2 and narrower 3 to get the same look on my work and home monitors.

OhLook and I have added some material to this thread for how MQ works. Please review to see if that is helpful for others when they ask?

This is something that really should be fixed. Instead of having you go into another section to click let us just hit reply or quote after hitting MQ and have all your MQ's already in there as it was before. I get how nice it is to select which MQ's you want but we have done that already in essence by selecting them to begin with. This way we can respond quicker instead of going back to another section and clicking more.
