Omar how is the A6000 working for you?
We were to go to Japan for the Christmas break of my grandchildren here, but we were not too happy with the tour package and the grandchildren preferred to go to the US so we are celebrating, with my daughter, SIL and three grandkids from here; Christmas and New Year in Las Vegas and returning here mid january in time for the pope and continue the vacation. So I may be able to get the camera still on sale, I fly back in two weeks.

Cheers,
Tony

Hopefully its still on sale! Although couldnt you order it from abroad and have it mailed to one of your kids? This way they can hold it for you. So far its a real treat to use the camera. Little kids love to hear the quick snapping of 11 fps. It tracks really good and IQ is better than a 7D. For 445 bucks cant complain at all.

This is something that really should be fixed. Instead of having you go into another section to click let us just hit reply or quote after hitting MQ and have all your MQ's already in there as it was before. I get how nice it is to select which MQ's you want but we have done that already in essence by selecting them to begin with. This way we can respond quicker instead of going back to another section and clicking more.

... sayeth the multi-quote king. :p I agree however. Dunno if there's a quick work-around fix.

OhLook and I have added some material to this thread for how MQ works. Please review to see if that is helpful for others when they ask?

https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=17310910

Now that's a good sticky. List common issues and then provide solutions/workarounds. Or even simply point out features.

I realize to some it may be obvious to most. However, people don't "see" the same things at times. So tips like these are very helpful. ;-)a

Lovely photo of you two Tony. Is that a traditional shirt you are wearing? Reminds me of the Guayabera worn in Cuba and the rest of the Caribbean.

tonyniev wrote in post #17311222 (external link)
Thanks, those are made with fibers from pineapple, when the Spaniards ruled the Philippines they did not allow the natives to tuck in their shirts so the Filipinos invented this formal men's shirt made of expensive fibers and hand embroidered and worn untucked

I believe the long sleve that Tony is wearing is called Barong Tagalog. Very traditional and very formal. I forget wha the women's version is called... Maria Clara, Filipinia, or something. Your wife looks lovely, Tony. I think you need a ponytail. ;-)a

BIL once told me that one of his friends wore a barong to a formal party. Problem was he didn't know you had to wear an undershirt (George Clooney batman would've been proud).

enroute to anyone?

QUOTED IMAGE

I think it's hitting the middle part of the country (Visayas). Is Steven in that area? I don't think Manila will be hit hard but heavy rains and some swells are expected.

I believe you. Heh. Everyone has to start somewhere.

My workaround right now is MQ all the posts including the last one I want to quote but click on reply on that last one. I still have to click insert all but everything is in order and I can insert my responses accordingly. :-)
