Iphone 7 and 7+ announced. I wonder how really good the camera system is that some claim the DSLR is dead.

mobile cameras look good but the resolution is junk. I will admit the iphone pictures look fantastic but it still is not better than a p&s. the only thing good about mobile is the convenience and easy to share pictures socially. every new phone they always claim and praise that the camera is better. well it better be otherwise it wouldn't be an upgrade :P

is your computer all finalized now?

I was close to having to build a new system, luckily it was dismissed heheh. Would have gone msi mb and msi gfx for the looks.

Marketing and ad agencies will say ANYTHING to get their product noticed. I want them to show a wedding pro to do a shoot with their phone and charge the same as if they used a dslr. Wonder how the bride and groom would feel. Heh.

My rig is AND isn't finished. Dealing with ASUS customer repair has been a nightmare to say the least. I ended up getting a new Gigabyte motherboard and got that running.

I had sooo much trouble on this build. Imagine the odds. I had to RMA a brand new 5TB WD Black, then a brand new Intel I-7 6700K, then the brand new Asus Hero Alpha board (still waiting on replacement - no stock they claim :rolleyes. WD and Intel replacement was no hassle. Asus insists on repair and I've sent it over twice and each time, I get it back worse.

Really bad luck... now I've got parts for almost a second rig. Where did all the rent money go? How did that happen?

Been playing some Doom and Rise of Tomb Raider. Graphics are great. Looking for a better monitor now. Heh.

lol yeah a 2nd computer, where did you get the parts ? That's so bad luck, never have I had that much problems ever. WD RMA is very good. WD is my preferred mechanical hd because they seem to be more quiet compared to other brands ive tried. and their rma process is simple.

If Asus will replace it, then great, I have another working board that I can build on later. Otherwise, it's just gathering dust. I'll give it another week and check if they have stock. Most likely they'll say they don't have any and insist on another RMA. Not much of a choice.

Yeah, things got hung up on getting the Asus board to work and the RMA took a long time. By that time, I decided to troubleshoot it by getting new parts. The ram I probably could've returned. The cpu, hard drives, and Asus board was past the 30 days. In the end, I ended up with almost 2 sets and if I get the Asus board replaced or repaired, I'll put together a second (nearly identical) rig. Maybe pick up a GTX 1080 when they come in stock. LOL.

didn't know what the heck u mean by pc master race gods so I looked it up lol. yeah how can a cpu be bad? I've only had one bad cpu actually but it was from fry's so I wasn't surprised hehe.

what graphic level did you have to set to on your old pc?

Graphic level was set to potato on my old pc. It was an AMD GPU and AMD CPU. It was good enough for Starcraft but Starcraft II was playable only at lower settings. Then I got a laptop and played on that.

What? You bought Overwatch but never played? Gimme the code! j/k! Did you return or refund? It's a team shooter like Team Fortress where you pick a character/class and go against another team of players. Yeah, no single player or story mode to go with it.

Oh and you wouldn't believe my luck. Last night, I open a brand new Corsair RGB keyboard and plug it in and 3 lights for cap, num, and scroll are blinking and nothing else. Check the interwebs and support FAQ and no solution. Call tech support today and they say the keyboard firmware is toast. I can go through and try to download software and update the firmware. If that doesn't work then I can open a ticket and RMA. If they can't fix it, they'll send a replacement. I'm all like FML not this crap again. I decided to just get a replacement with Newegg and not deal with troubleshooting. I get home and do some last ditch research and find a way to do a reset. I tried it since there was nothing to lose. Well, it reset the keyboard and seems to be working fine now. I'll test it for a bit and see. Jeez my luck on hardware.

oh geez I remember having to attempt to play sc2 with the lowest graphic. it was so junk that sc1 looked better. ahha yeah never played and will not :P id give code but ill be using it for the extra goodies for other games, like diablo, the mercy wings ehhehe I just kept it, I got the collectors of the game and it came with a nice figure that I wont be displaying anytime soon -_-;;

im a bad consumer :P but I don't stress much because I don't RMA unless I have to. id return to the store and deal with them instead of the manufacturer. I only do RMA if its pass the return/exchange deadline from the store. I'm not sure how newegg is now, but id shop more amazon because they are easy to deal with. but if I can get something from bestbuy id do that too since its local, just price match limited options however..
