Nice ride! Is it a chick bike? I don't see the man bar on this model.

It's a unisex bike, note the place where the seat mounts.

It's what he uses in the Naked Bike Ride every year.

This is the other bike I'm looking at. The Niner Jet 9
RDO in XTR groupo.

What does this bike give a person in advantage? Does 1 pound make that big of a difference, can't the rider just drop a pound to make it up? I'm kinda lost on the pricing of some of these beasts.

Weight is my last priority on a 29er. The advantages on a 29er are better climbing ability, handling downhill, and it can take the bumps a lot better. I'm mostly an enduro/cross country rider. :)

I just bought the 40mm 2.8, and I really like it. I tried it on my cat; and on another note, my cat just might not be alright in the head.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

Hey Omar. I'm shopping for a 29er bike and decided on Niner. I'm having a hard time deciding on two of their bikes. It's either the Niner Jet 9 RDO or Niner RIP 9 RDO which both come in carbon. The one I tested today was the RIP 9 in aluminum. It's a different beast over 26 inch. I've been riding a lot of trail and a 29er is the way to go. :)

These are the wheels I'm upgrading to. :)
ENVE carbon wheels:

Those are some large bikes. I see them all the time on 9W since they come off the trails and are returning to their cars. Sick wheels!

Speaking of bikes we are getting a new sponsor! Custom paint job and everything. They are making the frame as we speak in italy. :D

I was convinced after trying out my cousin's 29er. :) Yeah, the wheels are sick. If there's anything on a bike that should be replaced, it's always the wheels. This reduces rolling mass. :)

Nice! I really like the green/black/white color combo of your current sponsor. Do you have an idea what the new color scheme is? :)

Yeah one day i will get into MTB. Once i am done i guess with being sponsored :) Wheels is always the first to go. Most weight savings happens right there.

Same color scheme! I am so used to it that it would be weird any other way  Our bikes will now be in those colors as well! Waiting to see the final paint scheme. We will be on De Rosa Protos bikes :D

Here is the Protos: And will continue with Campagnolo (i could never go to anything else now :))
