I love that 2nd one, Tony. The stark contrast between the deep blue then the brightly lit balloon. Throw in a moon too to add to the shot. Love it.

Hey Omar. I'm shopping for a 29er bike and decided on Niner. I'm having a hard time deciding on two of their bikes. It's either the Niner Jet 9 RDO or Niner RIP 9 RDO which both come in carbon. The one I tested today was the RIP 9 in aluminum. It's a different beast over 26 inch. I've been riding a lot of trail and a 29er is the way to go. :)

These are the wheels I'm upgrading to. :)

Had fun shooting a college football game from the bleachers, someone on my FB was like "how did you get on the field?" hehe! I wish! I have a cousin who is a freshmen and is one of the dancers so we went to see her do her thing. Was lots of fun, my FIRST football game ever. I wanted to be one of the photogs on the field so bad!!! :D

I have a lovely memory of HS football. I was on the field shooting with a film nikon (late 90's) really nice camera of my fathers. Suddenly I was lifted off the ground and set down a few feet away. A very nice football player moved me before I got run over!

SOOC - Insane bright out yesterday, I think LR added some sharpness. 135mm I did not shoot wide open as I think the calibration is off a bit and I didn't want to miss a shot. Probably 3 to 5 aperture.

Cool! You must be one of those crazy downhill riders. Are there areas for mtb in Japan? :)

Do any computer folks know if 8GB is REALLY the max of this laptop? I know I'm running 64 bit, but could the processor limit me as well?

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

Not the processor so much as the data bus. The memory slots can't handle more than 4 GB each and you've only got 2 slots.

Thanks Jon. I'm actually taking a computer science course for high school. It's very fascinating to finally learn a tiny bit of what goes on under the hood. I'm not far into it at all though. Finally learned the difference between a bit and byte- basic, but useful. I knew there was a difference, I just never learned what they were.

(You can tell it's an old course when they say floppy drives are typical hardware. They did finally mention that flash storage had made it obsolete.)

Ah, the good ol' days. I remember well 8" floppies and 5MB hard drives. My license-plate frame read "Floppy now—hard later."
