I like the attitude in the first shot and the color on both are fantastic. These birds are very photogenic and you did well with the natural light. However, the second image is considerably underexposed. There'a a lot of brilliant color in that shot and the background is VERY complementary.

Since you have Image Editing OK" activate here's a quick adjustment:

Lovely first image, and agree with Steve, the edit really enhances the colors on the bird.
