Seeing no response to my last post, a quick look from pages 2 to 5 of section showed 3 more posts with 0 reply and another 2 with only 1 reply

Talk about how you will be buying a camera in a few years and then talk like you are currently taking photos. **** salute to finish it all up.

You should ask CanonYouCan or something like that. He creates a thread either weekly or monthly asking about the same lenses (135L o3 85L, is 85L better than 85 1.8, should I sell my 135L for 70-200Lii, Do you think 135L etc...) and surprisingly he gets plenty of responses.

Any thread with that Chet fella in it seems to excel as well. Good luck, and better tomorrows. Edit:If you purchase a 5dmkiii and get floor tiles in the box, that seems to interest some folks as well.

I didn't see your post until now and if I am brutally honest, reading it gave me a headache. Sometimes it helps to keep the question more simple and to the point. I am guilty of geeking out questions and they often go several pages before getting any responses.

To answer that question I would rather have the 40 of the two but better yet I would save more for a 35IS.

Why do you think you're the only one that has happened to?

I actually looked at that thread and didn't reply to it because it just appeared that you were making a statement.
You told us what you've got, what you use it for, what you're thinking about getting, and that you found some threads on the forum, and that you were waiting for people's replies.

What was there to reply to - nothing.
Probably why no one has.

There wasn't a question.

I learned many years ago (on a computer-enthusiast forum), that the wording in your title/question can draw people in..or turn them off. Equally as important, is your 1st line in the body of your post, as it shows when people hover their mouse over your thread title, and those first 7-10 words can make or break your chances of a good response....... or belly flop. Sounds unfair, i know.. but such is life on a forum.

PS. Don't let failure deter you... keep trying, but DO try other strategies. ;)
