Went to the Lacock at War show today, and we had a fly past from a Dakota. Tried to get the prop blur and i think i did ok.

They look pretty good, but it looks like you have a sharpening halo around it.

Thanks for the heads up photo, processing is not my strongest atribute lol.

If you aren't already doing it, be sure to sharpen at 100% so you can see what the effect will be.

Brings back many memories. My father used to work on Dakotas and Vikings in the '50's.

What sort of shutter speeds are best for prop blur? The Bournemouth air show is next week and we are there for 3 days.

Lowner,

just checked the exif data and they were shot with a shutter speed of 1/125 sec.
these were shot with Canon 5d mk2 and sigma 150-500.
