Well, just finished the three days and the R10 is a pretty amazing piece of machinery. Sounds like nothing I have ever heard before and was seriously quick. The Porsche was also amazingly fast in just a handful of laps they ran while having engine problems and then leaving before Wednesday. GT2 will be a good year as the BMWs, the Panoz and the Porshces were all running within a second of each other. Nice shots Jim - like the cockpit detail shot a lot.

The R10 the diesel powered car Audi is going to use at Le Mans this year?

Cheers,

Simon.

I am so looking forward to seeing and hearing that Audi diesel. I was really dissappointed that the spring event at Road Atlanta will not be run this year. I will have to settle for two events Grand AM events at VIR this year. Let me know if your coming down to either - love to meet up with you. Oh - very nice shots too - thanks for sharing.

Yes. That would be why it sounded different. I'm curious how it sounded, hopefully I can make Laguna Seca this year & hear for myself (assuming it's not just privateer R8s there).

Awesome shots. I like the unique views.
