Getting ready to scan a few thousand negatives (woohoo! Par-tay!). It's going to be a chore, as most of them have suffered horrendous color shifts/fading over the years.
So do you keep the negatives, or do you toss them after they've been digitized?

Wilt Reader's Digest Condensed version of War and Peace [POTN Vol 1] More info | Aug 20, 2013 10:56 | #9 I have more faith in the continued longevity of my stored negatives, than I have that my digital data will always be available to me. If you stored digital data on ST506 harddrives 20 years ago, just try to find an ST506 controller that will plug into the computer bus that is on motherboards today so that you can even get to that stored digital data. You need to give me OK to edit your image and repost! Keep POTN alive and well with member support https://photography-on-the.net/forum/donate.php
