Two weeks absence from Forums - wow, that is possible!

After spendind some ten days in Thailand, shooting everything possible, it's good to be back to home - and Forums - again. Some highlighst:

  • cmos cleaning in Canon Thailand service, took one hour (30 min waiting, 30 min actual work), cost 321 bath (8 USD/7 EUR) - this I call a good service with the right cost (could it be so that hot and humid air boosted the dust on the sensor to grow and be more visible?)
  • 10-22 dropped to the river (luckily I was carrying 18-125 and prime 24 as well so I could continue shooting some wide angle - now it is time to discuss with the insurance company)
  • bought 2 GB Kingston Elite Pro - worked well during the trip, but after returning back to home, it got immediately broken (after downloading all the picures, huh), most probably controller of the card is defective (waiting now RMA form from Kingston Customer service - they responded to my email within few minutes, so sofar I'm happy with their service as well)
Now there is 10+ gb data/c. 1500 raw pics waiting for postprosessing (and Forums postings and your comments ... just kidding ... or maybe not ...)

PS: So it is quite clear this was not the sign I was obeying:

Thanks condyk, Maureen and Tim for welcoming :)

About the picture: I was shooting some small glass decorations at one of the biggest weekend markets in the world (close to half a million visitors every Saturday and Sunday, they claim) and did not see the sign. The shop keeper came to me and pointed his finger at the sign. So I immediately turned my camera to that, fired and we all laughed. That's the Thai style I like.
