I have an all day festival to shoot this Saturday but won't be able to use my own camera ( long story I'll not post here ). So a friend is lending me his Nikon D2X. I should also have a 50mm prime ( 1.8 I think ) and possibly a 17-55mm 2.8.

I've never used a Nikon body since film so I expect I'll need to try and figure out the menus etc on the way to the festival.

I'm going to try to set it up as close to what I'm use to on my Canon for shoots like these. i.e. BBAF, AI Servo mode, Raw etc.

Can anyone think of anything else I should do to make the shoot as painless as possible?

Canon EOS 1000d /60d : 18-55mm IS kit lens. Canon 50mm 1.8 MK2. Tamron 55-200mm F4-5.6, battery grip to make my cam look pro..and 30mm Sigma F1.4 recently added

Think that you have a Canon in your hand, hahahahahaha

Only joking, a camera is only a box with a small hole in it. Same principles of photography applies
