The Cintiq Companion (Windows 8 version) could be the perfect tablet for photographer, graphic designer & illustrator alike whom require mobility.

A bit steep on the price, but considering the other similar-spec'd laptop/hybrids cost about the same sans the digitizer, it's actually better priced.

I'm definitely going to get this on day one.

I noticed that as well, will definitely be tempting. I just wish they had waited just a bit so as to use a Haswell processor instead of the Core. To me, the Cintiq Companion is basically a Surface Pro with a 13" screen. I'd have to assume the Surface Pro v2 will have a Haswell so should get much better battery life than v1, while the Cintiq will probably chew through batteries pretty fast.
