What brightness setting to be used with 70d? I think my pics looks more brighter on laptop than on camera screen. Thanks

Bright afternoon sunlight, 1/800s, f6.3, ISO 400, 70-200 with 1.4X @ 280mm
I just cant figure out how to balance between stopping the action (see blurred purple shoe) and quality (this shot seems washed out to me)
Am using raw files and edit in DPF4.
Any suggestions anyone?

Using a teleconverter always degrades a bit the image quality. Besides 1/800s isn't enough to stop all action. Don't be afraid to get you ISO higher. The 70D is pretty nice up to ISO1600.

One more thing, using that focal length your dof is small, so don't expect a large group of players to be all in focus.

I was able to capture movement better with 1/1000s shutter speed. But I was shooting smaller kids with smaller ground. I am using Sigma 105mm. I do not have RAW enabled with my Custom model which I have realized after copying it to my laptop. Needs faster shutter speed to capture hands, fingers and leg movement.
