There is lots of cuckoo spit, or frog spit on the plants just now - housing the spittle bug. These are 4 shots do differ in some way - 2 taken with natural light and 2 with flash.

Taken on the 70D with the Venus 60mm (external link) macro lens.

While on vacation in Yellowstone National Park this past week, a snowstorm came through and we had stopped in Hayden valley to watch a grizzly on a carcass. We stayed there for about an hour and he started coming towards us. Ended up crossing the road about 10 feed in front of our vehicle. This is one of the shots I got.

Some improvement in stopping the action in early morning light. Do the skin tones seem muddy, I would just like to see the people jump off the screen a little more? If anyone has any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Awesome shots on here as usual....

How much do I miss my 70D?

So much that I just bought a used one a few minutes ago and it is in my fine posession :p
(got a 50 1.8 and 18-135 STM also as they were part of the package deal but will be selling them)

As much as I love my 7D2 - I miss the flippity screen of the 70D and since I also wanted MFA at a reasonable price - the only answer was the 70D....

see you around ;-)a

now I can take flower shots, etc at the angles I like again :-P

But did you miss the 70D's inability to ETTL with a hotshoe flash?

Wow I sure did miss that, maybe provide a link for that issue.

I am however aware that some 70D owners report that when coupled with some STM lenses, there are cases where underexposure can occur when bouncing flash.
I am one of them, at least on my previous 70D, will eventually test my new one sooner than later.

I have never heard of the issue that you report. If yours is under warranty I would get that looked into.
