Just curious how one could tell the difference. Philip

greenjeans Goldmember ![]() More info | Philip, I don't know that you can tell the difference. This one is in a local park and we have three different ones that visit our yard. The three in our yard have distinctive markings different from each other. Gripped 6D, gripped 6D2, gripped 70D, 80D and a bag full of lenses.

greenjeans Goldmember ![]() More info | Don't feel any need to. Had my 70D out on the lake today with my Sigma 100-400mm and it performed just fine. It has served me well and rides in my truck all the time. Gripped 6D, gripped 6D2, gripped 70D, 80D and a bag full of lenses.

I think the R7 will be my next move but will be a couple of years yet! The 70D is still a great camera. I hope that you enjoy it ! Strangers are just friends that you've never met .... I'm Mike

Jul 29, 2022 11:31 | #16573 There's a bigger difference in image quality between the 70d and 80d - if you're doing a lot of lower light/cloud day work in that 400-1600 ISO range, it's a solid 2/3rds of a stop upgrade. The 90d is maybe another 1/3rd from there with more resolution, but, much much much much much pickier when it comes to lens selection/technique/proper exposure.
