Bon giorno Fabrizio, welcome to the forum.

I would suggest buying a 45MB/s UHS-I card from Sandisk, (Sandisk Extreme, UHS-I, 45MB/s)
Or a Sony, but from Sony I'd recommend a 94MB/s card. The Sony's speed rating is read speed, its write speed is only about half that. It's a red and black card, I have a couple of those and they're good and fairly cheap.

I would not recommend buying the fastest possible card since the 70D cannot write data faster than about 45-50MB/s so a 94MB/s write speed card would be unnecessary. So an expensive Sandisk Extreme Pro would be overkill for the 70D.

Transcend also make very good cards. I have a 32GB Transcend UHS-I card that is pretty fast and I can recommend that too.

Thanks to you and Alan_Hess for your kind replies.

I tried to shoot a short video today and, as far as I estimate one hour's video should take roughly 13.5 - 14 gb. I'll probably go for at least a 32gb card or maybe a 64.

So far all I can say is that this camera takes wonderful pictures!

Very clean pic at such a high ISO. What's your noise reduction procedure like?

No sharpening done, just a little noise reduction with Topaz.

The wife and I take one of our dogs to the park today.
The old girl (the dog) is 13, and isn't going to make 14. (she's very sick)
She always liked going to the park to see the big brown dogs and the big birds.
I tried to take a few pics of her leaning out the window, but they are nothing special.
So the wife says, "Let me take a picture from back here with the deer in the background"
I hand her the camera, and this is what she gets.

I could sit there for a month and not get the action she got in under a minute.

I know this is nothing great, but I thought it was a fun shot.
