My homemade Softboxes with Two Yongnuo YN‑560 II Flashes through literally two Amazon Boxes with 3 layers of Tissue Paper . If you have any boxes around and would like a tutorial, id be gladly to share.

thanks for them as you have persuaded me to possibly not wait till end of march to see if 7dm2 is going to be released... for shots like this I try to set custom white balance if doing straight out of camera as then it shows what the camera is capable.....

nice work... yeah when i need a softbox i take a box outcof the garage. cut top and sides out leaving 1in around the border... tape or staple paper to it. put a piece of paper in the inside but must not be bent.... shine a desk lamp through all 3 sides and viola!!!!!!!

It was very kind of you to provide photos for our colleague.

I would think, perhaps, that a finished product (corrected white balance, exposure, etc.) might give a better idea of noise handling. I think the 70D is an awesome camera.

Paul, forgot to mention the Tamron on the trip was a rental...I knew the one I ordered from Adorama was not going to make it in time.....still don't know when it might show up.
