These are shot with the Tamron 150-600 yesterday afternoon.
Hope you all like them, the rest of the set is on the Tamron 150-600 sample thread.

^^^ very creative and well done. I like them all but if I have to choose, I think I'd go with the first one because of the excellent reflection.

Thanks for taking the time to post them.

Great pictures coming out of this camera! I especially like the sunset/pier from Robin, and the moon from Gabe (to choose a couple recent ones). Keep them coming!

I think those are actually Tamron leaves ;).

As a new 70D owner (have not even used it yet), who also owns a Tamron 150-600 (and just sold a Sigma 150-500), I was taking special interest .

@JVthePT: Although I like the pictures I do think the last two are a bit too soft to my liking. Especially in the third one the water looks unnatural to me. I hoped to see a little more sharpness..

@hokiealumnus: nice sunset! Although I don't see the airport in your frame.. ;)

@Hermelin: 1/15? Pfff...nice capture! I can't keep my hands still enough for that shutter speed!

Use the pin setting within sharing on flickr and copy the complete url over here (after selecting size of photo). You don't need to use 'url' or 'Img' link when posting it..

Thank's bvsteyn. New in forum, trying to find the way to upload photos.

First days with camera. Using live view with different point of focus.

I preordered way back in first week of January from B&H and got in on the first wave.

As to the softness, don't judge the lens, I accidentally shot most of this series at F18 and auto ISO. That would have been fine on my 6d but tge 70d doesn't do real well in that 3200 iso range. The softness was sort of intentional in a couple of shots to make the water appear surreal and was a byproduct of noise reduction primarily.
If you want evidence of the sharpness this lens is capable of go to my Flickr account and look through the Tamron 150-600 set. Much better represented there.
