Yesterday, I found this little oddball swimming with it's siblings and mother; all of which, had normal Mallard coloration's.

we have a female mallard in town that has 1/2 her ducklings this colour every year... they grow up to be a beautiful white. Technically a very light yellow I suppose

This is the first time I have ever seen this. Glad to know that it is more common than I had originally thought. There are several varieties of ducks in that area that are mostly white with just a bit of black mixed in; this duckling should fit right in.

Hi All, new member here.
I have browsed every page of this thread so far and am so inspired that I have ordered a 70D .. it is in the mail as I type :)
Currently have a 650D and some lenses, but need something that also has MFA as a couple of my lenses are off on the 650D body and no way to adjust.
I am located in Perth Western Australia.
Thanks to all contributors here, hope I can join in soon.

First time out for a while.
My Sigma 120-300 was giving me fits.
It needs to go in.
It's like the clutches for focusing aren't grabbing well enough.
Half hold the shutter, nothing happens until I manually move the focus ring some,
then it focuses.
One day off for 4 weeks, and this thing gives me problems. Go figure.

Conversely, the kit 18-135 worked great.
