Or do you use mainly AV and set the AV to a value that is according to the shutter speed of 1250? I stay in AV mode... set my ISO so I'll end up getting 1250 shutter speed, give or take. I pretty much stay at f/8 for sharpness when I'm photographing birds... standing or flying. I often mention the bright sunlight we have here for most of the day. I'm sure this factors in as well. When it's golden hour, I sometimes have to boost the ISO up more than I like but I've never had to shoot over 3200 outside to get the shutter speed where I need it to be. I finally have a wide angle in my price range! ![]() sadly the 10mm aperture 'begins' at f/4.5..... not very good for star gazing... but interior shots and video on the 70D aught to be nice, and of course landscape. Its light and compact too ~ I wonder how this compares to the Sigma 10-20 and is it worth switching to gain the STM for video? 80D | M50 | Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L II | Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L II | Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro | Canon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM | Canon 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS STM | Ʃ 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM C | Tokina 11-20mm f/2.8 | Metz 50 AF-1 | Yongnuo YN 560 III/IV | Flashpoint AD360 | The Rest of My Gear | Flickr

I really don't know if I would have a reason to shoot video wider than 18mm actually.... and my 18-55 stm would do.

PaulIddon Cream of the Crop More info | May 15, 2014 05:53 | #5370 This is a 'Tree Bumblebee' (Bombus hypnorum). Quite a small bumble, but none the less, a welcome flyer in anyone's garden. Queens, workers and males all have a black head, brown-ginger thorax, black abdomen with a white tail. The proportion of white on the tail does vary significantly but is always present. This species was first found in the UK in 2001, but is now found throughout most of England and Wales. IMAGE LINK: http://www.pauliddon.co.uk Paul. My site: http://www.pauliddon.co.uk
