With my 60D - getting sharp shots was easy... so I have more testig to do. Anyone know of a good MA test sheet on the web that I could print off? anyways, about to use a ruler and see what I can do... Dave, Flickr

Phoenixkh a mere speck More info | May 19, 2014 16:34 | #5481 Cooper just got to our house yesterday. I would welcome comments. I shot at f/8 but the back part of his face and chin are soft. I used my 70-300L. I seldom do close ups of anything but flowers so I could use advice: f/11? Question.... It is possible that I was at the hairy edge of minimum focus distance. Would that do it? I might have answered my own question. I was way closer than 3.9 ft./1.2 meters. (OK, I don't know, for sure, how anxious you are.... but I can put myself there all too easily.) Thanks folks!
