You press the shutter release once and it takes three shots in rapid succession. It does not retain the three "original" images, only the single combined HDR image. 70D | Canon 24-105/4L | Canon 50/1.4 | Tamron 18-270/3.5 pzd | Sigma 10-20/4-5.6 | Tamron 90/2.8 macro | Tamron 100-300/3.5 (For Sale)

(30fps =1/30, 1/60) You could probably go as high as 1/120 but that's about the limit for smooth video. It will start to look jittery after that. If you are filming outside you will want an ND filter set or variable ND to keep your shutter speed correct. Happy shooting! Any recommendations on a decent ND filer for video?

So for default bracketing, you press the shutter release three times. Each of the shots is retained and the camera does not produce any sort of combined image (HDR or averaged/combined exposure image). I may be misinterpreting what you're saying, so no offense meant, but when using AEB you only press the shutter release once to initiate the bracketing sequence. The camera will then fire the appropriate number of exposures based on how many you have it set for. Also, actuate the shutter release in the timer mode, or use a remote. Fuji X....BAAAAM! Renders way different than Sony.

Well, I use the Singh-Ray Variable ND. They aren't cheap but have the best glass I've found. Variables give you control like the iris on a video camera. www.yipdogstudios.com

Variables give you control like the iris on a video camera. As for fixed ND's I have a set of Tiffen filters which are OK but I prefer Heliopan. You will want a set containing .3, .6, .9 and 1.2 This is how I justify the variable. I have an 82mm and step down rings to make it fit every lens I have. With the fixed you're constantly changing them and checking settings. Wastes a lot of time. Thanks.

No worries - no offense taken. But you're not quite correct. (And no offense intended here either. )According to the manual (page 169), the camera will only fire all the AEB exposures when you are in timer/remote mode. If you are shooting either single shot or a continuous shooting mode, you have to either press the shutter release for each shot, or hold it down until all bracketed shots are taken. It does not automatically fire all bracketed shots with a single press of the button. I use the bracketing function quite a lot at times, and I use the two second timer, and press it only once. Providing the exposure compensation and the other setting are correct for the number of shots you want - it will take that number of shots.
